This year's curation team consists of Céline Lütolf, Daniel Bolliger, and Joshua Amissah. They all operate as actors in contemporary photography and accordingly have a fresh, cosmopolitan, and international perspective and taste. All three are asked to support the applicants on their journey to the perfect presentation at photoSCHWEIZ.
Céline Lütolf, a photographer and art director from Zurich, discovered her passion for visual storytelling through photography during her design studies. After completing her master's degree in Paris and London, she founded the magazine "Limbo&Hatch," which explores visual trends and the intersection of reality and digital space. As a versatile photographer with experience in portrait, fashion, and fine art, she is now the co-curator of photoSCHWEIZ.
Daniel Bolliger, lead curator of photoSCHWEIZ, completed his studies in photography, image editing, and fine arts at ZHdK and in New York. His work attracted international interest and led to a successful career as a photographer, post-production specialist, and creative director in advertising and art. He has worked for renowned brands like Gucci, Dior, and Louis Vuitton and has collaborated with notable figures like Steven Meisel and Christy Turlington.
Joshua Amissah studied Fine Arts and Photography at ZHdK. His photo book "Black Masculinities" won the ZHdK Design Advancement Award. He is versatile in publications as a picture editor, author, and photographer. As part of the Offspace collective bild8005, he curated exhibitions like Black Art Matters. With extensive experience as a co-curator of photoSCHWEIZ and current engagements, he skillfully combines image and word.
