In the early 1980s, the German news magazine "Der Spiegel" published a story about the then-successful management book “In Search of Excellence” by Tom Peters. His stories fascinated me at the beginning of my career. Twenty years later, my life changed fundamentally. It is now the search for silent places that drives me. I consider a location to be quiet if I can listen to the sounds of nature without any human-made interruptions. I document these locations with a camera. Since 2017, my work has been exhibited in San Francisco, London, Tokyo, New York, Palermo, Firenze, Venice, and Zurich.
