Wolfgang Stahl wurde 1973 in Heidelberg geboren und schloss 2003 als staatlich geprüfter Fotodesigner am Lette-Verein Berlin ab. Er stellte in verschiedenen europäischen Städten aus und erhielt mehrere Auszeichnungen. Darunter «Finalist» Arte Laguna Prize Venedig, «Finalist» One Eyeland Awards Chennai, «Honorable Mention» International Color Awards Beverly Hills, «Honorable Mention» Black & White Spider Awards Beverly Hills, «Gold» London Photographic Association.
Nach einem dreijährigen Aufenthalt in London lebt Stahl mit seiner Frau und seinem fünfjährigen Sohn seit 2008 in München.
