Sandro Manni is a Swiss/Italian documentary & street photographer. He was born in 1978 and grew up in Berne. In 2008, he graduated with a MSc in Molecular Life Sciences and in 2013 with a PhD in Biochemistry from Basel University and is currently working in R&D for an international pharma company. Next to his job he works as a freelance documentary and wedding photographer. Sandro has an innate interest for people’s lives and their stories. For him photography represents an ideal medium to transport emotion, connection, memory, identity and intimacy.
