Blade for Babes is a reflection on beauty and innocence. The project questions our vision of the feminine and dictates that we impose on individual in our society. I wanted to put into images a satirical critique of clichés that are difficult to question. I talk about the superficiality of certain injunctions that continue to fuel taboos, and the psychological discomfort that threatens everyone, behind the violence that society imposes on us. First I questioned common objects myself that have a symbolic charge that we no longer question, whether it's the kitchen knife to certain gendered childish products, each time in a "feminine" and soft aesthetic in order to divert the objects from their first use to create discomfort.
