La Harpa – Music Hall Reykjavik, Iceland
La Harpa (the harp) is a fascinating light-flooded building lying at the waterfront of Icelands capital. It represents natural elements of Iceland’s landscape. The construction mostly out of vertical and horizontal lines reminds on harsh precipitous coasts, hexagonal structures all over the building on vulcanic basalt columns, ice and water.
Nevertheless it’s transparency let it appear as a nearly “flying object”.
