These portraits were created in collaboration with the teachers and dancers of Studio Quint in Thalwil, Zürich, where dancers come each week to learn about dance, their bodies and each other. As a photographer, Jenny chooses to work directly with dance studios, immersing herself for a week as she gets to know students of all levels and their teachers. When the photos leave this exhibition, they will move to the walls of the studio, greeting dancers arriving for classes. Studios have a unique opportunity to build confidence, strength and friendship amongst girls. These images serve to document and encourage their progress, while reflecting back to them their stunning strength and beauty.
