I traveled to India to follow the call within me of once in my life becoming a part of this big human gathering called Kumbh Mela. To dive deep within in and feel what it is that people are looking for, longing for, dreaming about, connecting with. Religion, culture, believes – will always unite people in a way. So to experience this event while encountering such a mass of humans in one particular place and being able to connect them as a whole through my lens - has been a magical journey for me. The moment that really grasped me was when all the different faces melted into one, slightly different from the outside but very much the same on the inside. Seeing peace and true depth in human eyes. We are all the same - humanity - human, being, soul, all is one. In our lifespan we can keep trying to find solutions outside of us, preaching for god’s or following gurus. But I believe eventually the real answer will always be found inside of us. If we only look deep within.
