MOTHER OF.
She who bears life. The navel that connects every being to its mother. To the womb of birth. The source from where you come. From the invisible, through the Mother to Mother Earth. She is great strength and vulnerability. The exhibition MOTHER OF springs from the principle that the mother, the feminine aspect of the mother, is deeply connected to and is one with nature. MOTHER OF is not just the mother but the feminine aspect within us, from which we continue to cut ourselves off. The installation draws the parallel between mothers and Mother Earth, calling for empathy, care, intuition, and collective responsibility. This exhibition offers insight and serves as a prelude to the solo exhibition at Frame, Zurich which will be announced this year. Visual installation: Ancient human cultures held the understanding of ocean life in connection to ourselves. Our Life began through the womb and within the waters of Grandmother.
