Project Bridges
The images were made in Stoss/SZ, Luzern, Ballycastle and Dublin, Benicàssim, Flugplatz Buochs and Valencia.
Bridges are constructions for connectivity – from east to west, from north to south, from up and down. What is connected to what and to whom? How many bridges have been constructed over the centuries? And if only they could speak and tell their tales!
My pictures show the new and the old, the beautiful and the ugly, the no-longer-used, the tourist attraction and those that require strong nerves to travers. They all have something in common – they connect us to something, whether it’s the past, the future or just the other side.
