A real humanitarian crisis is underway on the Greek island of Lesbos. In the official Moria refugee camp, a former military base capable of accommodating about 3000 people, today about 20000 live between the interior of the structure and the olive grove that is located in its immediate vicinity. 60% of the people who occupy the area come from Afghanistan and Syria - countries currently at war - while the rest come from countries in the Middle East and Africa. 85% are refugees, the rest are classified as migrants, while minors represent 40% of the population.
