X3C work as photographers in queer spaces around the city of Zurich. They’re interested in bold snapshots and flash-imagery, which allow them to capture the dynamic environments, where dance, movement and performance become their focus and subject, creating the aforementioned visual language. The duo shoots moments on and off stage thanks to the trust given to them by the communities, attempting to contribute to building a part of the photographic archive of the local LGBTQIA+ scene, capturing the given moment in time, an homage to the established characters and ephemeral personas in front of their lens.
